Elena Gross is a current junior at the University of Michigan studying Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. Elena first met June and George Rosentreter on January 14th, 2023, and has been visiting them every week since. They were originally matched for their love of spending time outdoors and traveling. After their instant connection at their first meeting, George emailed Elena inviting her to join him for lunch. June and George both grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, but moved around to multiple states and raised their three children in Oxford, Mississippi. Both June and George talk fondly about their time together in New Orleans and Oxford, and enjoy sharing stories about growing up. George loves to crack long, elaborate jokes and always holds a straight face when delivering the punch line.
