Match Process
MATCH APPLICATIONS ARE REVIEWED
Our team at each chapter, the VP Matching & Match Committee meets & reads through the resident and volunteer applications to find the perfect match. Things like language, careers, interests, hobbies, background, and more are looked at!
THE RESIDENT RECEIVES A WELCOME BAG
Each new resident then receives a Welcome Bag to welcome them to our Perfect Pair family! The bag has info about their pair, our activity catalog, some Perfect Pair apparel, and their favorite treat fresh from a local bakery.
THE PERFECT PAIR IS MADE
Behind the scenes, our team has identified a Perfect Pair! For example, Consuelo and Ximena were matched because they both speak Spanish and worked/have goals to have a career in Social Work.
THE PAIR HAS THEIR FIRST MEETING
Pairs meet for the first time and use our Get to Know You questions! Before no time, their weekly meetings turn into catching up with friend.
