Meet Maeve Toombs

Divisional Dementia Care Manager, Brookdale Senior Living

Maeve joined the senior living industry in 2009, following 13 years of supporting adults with
developmental disabilities in both residential and work environments.

Maeve earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Central Connecticut State
University, New Britain, CT. Maeve’s passion for our industry is driven by her experience
with her own father’s dementia journey and her work as an advocate for vulnerable people
unable to advocate for themselves.

In her current role, Maeve trains and supports dementia care teams to deliver the highest
quality services. Her goal is to ensure that each resident lives a life that is filled with dignity,
purpose and meaning. She is also committed to developing strong relationships with family
members and partner with them as they entrust Brookdale Senior Living with the care and
quality of life for their loved ones.
